Hey there, I'm Andrew Stanton—a -year-old student at the University of York, pursuing Electronic Engineering with Music Technology Systems. My journey into the world of music and technology began at a young age. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the way things worked, constantly taking apart and reassembling gadgets. This curiosity naturally extended to my love for music. I started playing the bass guitar in my early teens, and it quickly became my primary mode of expression. The deep, resonant tones of the bass spoke to me, allowing me to connect with my emotions in a profound way.
At the University of York, I have the unique opportunity to combine my passion for music with my technical skills. My course allows me to explore the intricacies of sound engineering, digital signal processing, and electronic instrumentation. I've worked on various projects that bridge the gap between music and technology, such as developing custom audio effects and creating interactive musical interfaces. My loyal dog, Rosie, my mischievous cat, Jack, and my spirited puppy, Bonnie, add a touch of warmth and joy to my daily routine. They remind me of the simple pleasures in life and the importance of companionship. Rosie, with her boundless energy and affectionate nature, is always ready for an adventure. Jack, ever the curious explorer, brings a sense of wonder with his antics. And Bonnie, the newest addition to our family, fills our home with youthful exuberance.
